chitter chatter

Nate has turned a corner. A communication corner that is! Although he is still not saying a whole lot we can understand, his babble is different than is was last week. I think he's on the cusp of adding some real words to his repertoire.

He also waves 'hi' and 'bye' constantly now (when there is a good reason of course). He is obsessed with the garbage truck/man when he comes by every Wednesday morning. Nate stands in the window with his Grammy and waves to the nice man in the loud blue truck. The nice man always waves back.

And, he has also started pointing to his body parts -- nose, eyes, mouth & belly button -- although he would much rather point to yours than his.

He gives the sweetest hugs and the wettest kisses.

Such a sweet little man.

Oh I love the waving!! He's such an adorable munchkin. I've kind of been enjoying the "strong, silent-type" after having two other chatter-boxes in the family! I miss my boy!!
