Main reasons we disliked the tile that was in the house when we bought it?
1. It was COLD....brrrrrr.
2. It was dirty, even when it was clean.
3. It was ugly.
Enough said.

In order to make this project as cost effective as possible, we are having oak floors installed that match the current wood floors downstairs. I will continue to post photos through the week and final before and after shots at the end. We are SO excited!
In the meantime, thank you to my mom for letting all of us crash at her house for a week. Mom, you are a saint. Thanks also to the Wikens who fed us a yummy yummy meal this evening. You guys are awesome!

Thanks! I posted some more pics tonight. Mere, you should see how trashed our house is right now. Ugh. It's all worth it, but makes me want to throw up a little.
